CHARACTER NAME: Given her talent for computer hacking, technical magic, and fraud, it is impossible to know her true name for certain, but for simplicity's sake: the name she is known by within the New Watchers' Council is Bridget Ralston.

STATUS: Maintains an outward appearance of Evilcurious very well-- she'll even stand by and watch innocent people be killed if it will maintain her cover, but ultimately, at the end of the day, her loyalties are with the New Watchers' Council and/or Good Guys.
PAST BIO: Easy to approach, but difficult to know, Bridget Ralston works for the New Watchers' Council as an informant, rather than a traditional Watcher. She is not someone who trains, protects, or guides the surplus of Slayers in the world. Bridget instead uses her extensive hacking and identity fraud skills, her limited magical ability, and outright subterfuge to infiltrate those circles the New Watchers' Council cannot access openly and then report all pertinent information back to headquarters. Genuinely fun-loving, sociable, and curious, Bridget also has something of a creative and dramatic flair that makes her especially well-suited to her job. Furthermore she has the steely resolve needed for the job, as well, since she has no problem watching the slaughter of some unknown innocent victim to maintain her cover and she definitely has no problem lying directly to people's faces (or the faces of magical beings many times powerful and fearsome than she is). Bridget enjoys her work and believes it is important. Having previously worked as an informant in LA, Bridget has recently been reassigned to Seattle. In the wake of the death of Edith Garnett Reynolds and the disappearance of Christine Kennedy McCabe, the New Watchers' Council lacks any presence in the magically important region and is desperate for news and intel on all corners of the city. Being the first informant in the area, it is Bridget's responsibility to collect as much information on every group as possible, even if she has to maintain several cover identities at once.


COVERS


01. A thus far unnamed vampire-bite addict from Los Angeles, California. Bridget uses this cover almost exclusively in night clubs (those that cater to vampire/human biting relations and those that don't) and it is marked by an obvious goth aesthetic including heavy makeup, a very obvious black bob-cut style wig, and a more intense and mature schoolgirl-inspired wardrobe. In this cover, Bridget does not necessarily hide her magical ability (for, as soon as any vampire bites her, the magic can be tasted) but once revealed, she heavily downplays her level of skill and practice.

02. Caitlin Crowley. A relatively good witch, new to Seattle but sympathetic to the Slayer agenda-- or perhaps just Amanda Matthis, specifically. Improvised on the spot upon meeting her first Slayer in town, Bridget uses no costuming or magical glamor techniques to alter her appearance for this cover identity, but still evades revealing any truthful information about who she really is.
